I’m glad you are starting your journey of essential oils. Whether you are just incorporating oils into your life, or are a long-time user, they are a great way to support your wellness, compliment your home, and enhance your natural-loving lifestyle. What are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are volatile liquids and aromatic compounds that are distilled and pressed from plants.

Essential oils have been used for thousands of years and are extracted through distillation and cold pressing. Using them on their own can give you the flexibility to incorporate natural products into your life in quantities YOU control. They are a great compliment to all kinds of DIY projects including things like body scrubs, lip balm, shower soothers, lotions, massage oils and more. The options are endless, but most of all, are NATURAL and chemical-free products for your home and family.

How Do I Use Essential Oils?

Oils can be used in 3 ways:

1. Topically – Putting them on your body for various aliments.
2. Aromatically – Diffusing them in the air or smelling them.
3. Internally – Taken with or in food or alone.

They can be used in the home, for wellness, for balance and beauty. Essential oils are a natural extension for people who live an environmental-friendly lifestyle either with nutrition, cleaning routine, wellness, spirituality and more.

How to Get Started with Young Living Essential Oils and Order

There are two ways to create a membership with Young Living and order oils and products.

You can create a Retail account where you order one or a few products. With this type of account you do not receive any discount, discounted shipping, cannot receive any income/commission, nor do you have access to discounted product packages.

The best bang for your money is to create a wholesale membership where you begin by purchasing a Premium Starter Kit. Most people begin their oil journey this way since it is a huge savings and the starter kit has all the oils you use on a regular basis.

Below is information on how to create a wholesale membership.

1. Go to YoungLiving.com with this link
2. The Member option is already checked. This gives you 24% off all purchases, allows you to participate in the compensation plan if you want, qualifies you for YL events, and you are eligible for Essential Rewards – points back program.
3. Click ‘Continue’. It will verify that you know you are enrolling with my member number (3298005). Click ‘Continue’ on that pop up.
4. On the next page, choose your starter kit, set up Essential Rewards (which is optional, not required) and add items to your order (under step 3), then click ‘Next’.
5. Go through the checkout and you are all set.
6. After checkout, click ‘My Account’ and write down your member number, username, password and pin for later use.

Join us on Saturday, December 16th for the 2nd Annual DeSales Holiday Boutique. This year’s event will take place in the DeSales school gymnasium from 2-4pm. Learn the basics of essential oils and get hands on with them by making your own products. Attendees can make their own room/linen/body spray, stain spray, a roll on bottle, or body scrub. Cost per item is $5 each, payable to the instructor, limit of 4 items per person.
