The Pottery Barn catalog makes me smile and puts my creative juices and the itch to redecorate in motion. This is much to the dismay of my husband. Pottery Barn is my number one go to source for decorating inspiration. I love their furniture, decor items, bedding, pillows, dining collections and rugs. I think that pretty much covers 90% of the store. Each new season brings a new catalog to my door filled with new items and the hot paint colors for that season. Several rooms in my home are painted with colors I’ve found through Pottery Barn’s paint palettes.
When we first bought our home 14 years ago my daughter was a month old and my son was three. I didn’t have the time or budget to spend on decorating. Fortunately we have several Target stores and at the time they sold several Pottery Barn knock offs at a price I could afford. I still love Target, but I’m able to splurge a little more now at Pottery Barn. Every time I walk in the store I feel at ease and like I’ve found my home. The store speaks to me as if there is a Pottery Barn whisperer coaxing my every move. I want to sit on a couch, take my shoes off and relax while being surrounded by beautiful things. I think you’ve gotten the picture that I LOVE Pottery Barn. Some of the best compliments I’ve ever received are when people have told me my house looks like Pottery Barn.
The Pottery Barn catalog is like what the JC Penney Christmas catalog was to me back in the 70’s. My brother and I used to study the JC Penney Christmas catalog and create wish lists of things we never knew we needed. If I can recall, there was also some shoving back and forth and torn catalog pages back then. These are a few things I’m loving from this Fall’s catalog. I don’t have to share it with anyone, but now I want to share. Are you a fellow Pottery Barn lover and if so what’s on your wish list this Fall? I shared last year’s Pottery Barn Fall favorites here.
